Lasting Happiness Youth Project
The purpose of the Lasting Happiness Youth Project is to help teens and young adults learn how to be more mindful and kind. Through ongoing interactive group sessions, participants will learn not only how to cope with stress, anxiety, and other challenges but also how to increase kind habits and decrease unkind habits to have a happier, healthier, and loving life.
The Choose Kindness Foundation will be providing service contracts to qualified organizations interested in facilitating groups for the Lasting Happiness Youth Project. The contracted organizations may receive compensation for staff training and facilitating the groups, as well as reimbursement for participant incentives and supplies. Copies of the workbook, Lasting Happiness: A Guide for Teens and Young Adults, will be provided to participants and training staff for free.
The requirements of the participants include reading the assigned material and participating in group sessions. During the first and last sessions, participants are asked to answer a brief set of questions about stress and their life satisfaction to determine if they benefited by going through the workbook. Finally, during the last session, they are asked to fill out a form indicating the usefulness of going through the workbook in a group setting.
Please note: Applications are still under development and are not being accepted at this time.
