Lasting Happiness Youth Project
The purpose of the Lasting Happiness Youth Project is to help teens and young adults learn how to be more mindful and kind. Through ongoing interactive group sessions, participants will learn not only how to cope with stress, anxiety, and other challenges but also how to increase kind habits and decrease unkind habits to have a happier, healthier, and loving life.
Participants will be paid to participate in the project and will receive materials at no cost (including the workbook Lasting Happiness: A Guide for Teens And Young Adults). The requirements of the participants include reading the assigned material and participating in group sessions. During the first and last sessions, participants are asked to answer a brief set of questions about stress and their life satisfaction to determine if they benefited by going through the workbook. Finally, during the last session, they are asked to fill out a form indicating the usefulness of going through the workbook in a group setting. A qualified facilitator will be paid to lead each session, whether virtually or in person.
Please note: Grant applications are still under development and are not being accepted at this time. You can view a draft application here.
