Lasting Happiness Youth Project
The purpose of the Lasting Happiness Youth Project is to help teens and young adults learn how to be more mindful and kind. Through ongoing interactive group sessions, participants will learn not only how to cope with stress, anxiety, and other challenges but also how to increase kind habits and decrease unkind habits to have a happier, healthier, and loving life.
The Choose Kindness Foundation will be providing service contracts to qualified organizations interested in facilitating groups for the Lasting Happiness Youth Project. The contracted organizations may receive compensation for staff training and facilitating the groups, as well as reimbursement for participant incentives and supplies. Copies of the workbook, Lasting Happiness: A Guide for Teens and Young Adults, will be provided to participants and training staff for free.
The requirements of the participants include reading the assigned material and participating in group sessions. Participants also are asked to complete one or more surveys to determine if they benefited from the materials and to determine the usefulness of working through the materials in a group setting. Approximately, mid-way through the book, facilitators will administer the Mid-Course Check-In Survey to the entire group.
The videos below show interviews with participants and facilitators who worked through Lasting Happiness in a group setting.
